Aim Transportation Solutions is thrilled to announce the promotion of Jessica Bochy Deane to Vice President of Marketing. Since coming on board in 2008, Deane has risen through the ranks by forming and growing Aim’s marketing department into a well-oiled machine for lead generation and brand elevation.
As Aim’s Vice President of Marketing, Deane will continue to lead the company’s marketing efforts on multiple fronts: promoting Aim’s unparalleled commercial fleet services, managing Aim’s brand identity, and, as of 2022, promoting Aim as an employer to foster recruiting and improve retention.
Diesel mechanics are the backbone of the transportation industry. Unfortunately, though, the national technician shortage has been gaining momentum, especially during the last few years. Countless variables are contributing to the shortage, which means there’s no easy fix. Because of this, the recruiting environment is fierce, and businesses are having to get creative and dump a ton of time, money and resources to attract candidates from a shrinking pool of available qualified diesel mechanics.
In 2006, Aim Transportation Solutions and Olympic Steel shook hands for the first time. The deal began as a handful of full-service trucks at the steel distributor’s Chambersburg, PA, site, one of their 41 locations nationwide. Since then, the partnership between Aim and Olympic Steel has been one of mutual growth, trusted relationships and persistent support. This history, confidence and reliability has led to the next evolution in Aim and Olympic Steel’s partnership: dedicated fleet services with Aim Integrated Logistics.
When stopping off the highway to fill-up the tank or grab an MTO at a Sheetz location, how the fuel arrived in the pump or how the truck that brought the fuel stays safely on the road is not always the first thought of the traveler. That’s not their job; it’s ours. Sheetz and their dedicated fuel hauler, CLI Transport, have been satisfied full-service lease customers of Aim Transportation Solutions since 2020, but the parallels between these two companies go beyond just a service provider and a customer.
Aim employees across the country continue to embody Aim’s safety-first culture in all that they do, and it shows in the numbers. Recently, during an employee appreciation luncheon, the Aim service team at Dutch Farms, a valued full-service lease customer in Chicago, was recognized for five years without an injury. That’s an extraordinary feat given the hazardous nature of the job, and it speaks volumes about their unwavering commitment to the safety of themselves and those around them.
Goodwill of the Heartland Vice President of Operations, Jessica Schamberger sat down with Aim Director of Marketing, Jessica Deane to discuss how Aim Integrated Logistics is delivering for the Goodwill organization and assisting them in fulfilling their mission.
