Aim is excited to announce our partnership with Youngstown-based World Champion and National Drag Racing Standouts, Martino Motorsports! This partnership was built out of a mutual love of family, community, and a shared audience – automotive enthusiasts!
Annually, numerous Aim technicians showcase their mechanical expertise by participating in the NationaLease Tech Challenge, vying for the prestigious title of Top Tech. This competition assesses the knowledge and abilities of hundreds of technicians, aiming to identify the most deserving recipient of this esteemed honor.
Please join us in congratulating Seth Martin on his promotion to Web Platform Engineer. Seth started his career at Aim in 2018 as a Software Developer and will undoubtedly find success in his newest role.
“Seth has been an integral part of our development team since he joined us in 2018,” said Dan Kellgren, Aim Vice President of Software Development. “I was incredibly proud to be able to promote him to his new role and know he will continue to do great things here, at Aim.”
Members of Aim’s Sales, Safety, and Maintenance teams paid a visit to long-term lease customer, MMK Logistics in East Dundee, IL, this month. As a show of support and the on-going customer service Aim provides, Aim team members sat down with MMK drivers to hold a Q&A and offer solutions to build a more streamlined operation.
Regional Vice President of Sales Joe Telega recently held his annual region sales meeting to review the year so far, sharpen the team’s sales tools amid an unpredictable economy and strategize how to carry the group’s speeding momentum into the end of the year and close out strong.
Not only is the current economy unpredictable, but the transportation industry itself is infamous for its volatility, with demand sporadically rising and falling, new laws and regulations introduced regularly, cutting-edge technologies hitting the scene, and the list goes on—and on. So, in order to uphold Aim’s unmatched brand of commercial fleet services, communication and a unified strategy are critical. That’s why these regional sales meetings, as well as the National Sales Meeting (held every January), are critical to Aim’s success and ultimately the success of our valued customers’ shipping operations.
At Aim Transportation Solutions, “safety first” isn’t just a phrase you throw around. It’s a code by which to operate, think and prioritize. Safety not only keeps our employees, customers and those we come in contact with safe, but it’s the very foundation of our ability to provide the unparalleled services we’ve built our brand and reputation on. To put it simply: Safety is everything.
When it comes to safety, Aim never takes its eye off the ball. It’s a 24-7, 365 commitment built right into the company’s culture. To further strengthen this commitment, Aim held its fourth annual Safety Week. Aim’s safety experts designed this five-day initiative to engage employees in daily conversations to ensure safety is on the forefront of everyone’s mind while also uncovering areas for improvement.
David Couse has been promoted to business development specialist. He began his career with Aim as a regional rental manager in 2022.
Since joining Aim Transportation Solutions 17 years ago, Bob Mrzyglod has proven himself to be an elite, award-winning diesel technician, and it’s with great pleasure we announce his well-deserved promotion to foreman.
When we say Bob has proven himself to be an elite, award-winning diesel tech, we’re not exaggerating. Since joining the Aim family in 2006, Bob has earned his ASE certifications, received the New York State Golden Wrench Award (twice), competed in NationaLease’s Top Tech Challenge seven times and winning five, and competed in TMC’s highly competitive Super Tech competition seven times.
Building on last year’s success, Aim Transportation Solution hosted its second ‘Aim Talks’ panel. This townhall-style discussion allows Aim Co-Presidents Geoff Fleming and Scott Fleming, alongside members of the senior-level leadership team, to share all the exciting programs, changes and opportunities coming down the pike for Aim. Not only that, but it also serves as a grand stage to recognize the hard work and dedication of Aim’s employees.
One of Aim Talks’ main objectives is transparency. Aim leadership understands employees want to know about matters that directly impact their professional and personal lives—subjects like employee benefits, policy changes, service enhancements, etc.—and they also desire to know more about the overall state of the company—how it’s doing, where it’s going, what’s the outlook?
The Aim Transportation Solutions website, www.aimntls.com, is, for many people, their first glimpse at the Aim brand. It not only presents our full menu of commercial fleet services; it’s also a digital window into who we are and what we represent as a company, employer and community member.
To ensure we’re representing the Aim brand in its fullest, truest fashion, the www.aimntls.com domain recently underwent a full redesign. The overhaul streamlined navigation, brought the aesthetics more in line with current branding, improved and bolstered information sitewide and significantly enhanced our careers webpage (jobsataim.com).
