Aim Transportation Solutions, a nationwide leader in commercial truck and equipment leasing, rentals, integrated logistics and maintenance, had three technicians take home gold in three of nine regions that participated in NationaLease’s 2019 Tech Challenge.
NationaLease, Aim’s affiliate network comprised of more than 150 independent business, making it one of the largest truck leasing organizations in North America, holds this annual event to recognize member company technicians with the opportunity to compete in a series of events that test their knowledge and skills in all things commercial truck and equipment maintenance.
This leg of the race is marked by an exam and is the preliminary step to qualify for the title of NationaLease Top Tech.
These three Aim finalists will head to Chicago on May 7 to compete in the NationaLease Top Tech Challenge:
- Aim Technician Brandon Lynn (region 3 winner)
- Aim Technician Chris Haughee (region 6 winner)
- Aim Working Foreman Cody Rakowski (region 5 winner)
The top three finishers of the Top Tech Challenge will then move on to compete in the Technology & Maintenance Council’s SuperTech Skills Competition this September in Raleigh, NC.
Of special note are that Lynn and Haughee are graduates of Aim’s apprenticeship program, which takes on aspiring techs and puts them through a 42-month program, providing the necessary tools and skills to become certified, full-time Aim technicians.
