Superheroes Don’t Always Wear Capes; They Often Drive Trucks

Posted on July 31st, 2018

Aim driver Arnold Comer doesn’t wear a cape, but perhaps he should.

Recently, while heading north on I-75 in Florida, he noticed an elderly woman walking in the lanes of the interstate. He and another driver immediately stopped their vehicles and managed to use their trucks to shield the woman from traffic; at which point, Comer and the other driver jumped out and helped the woman to the side of the road, out of immediate danger.

Then, in what was no less than a stroke of luck, driving behind Comer was a nurse who immediately recognized the woman, as she is a regular patient at the doctor’s office where she works.

The nurse took the woman back to the office and helped get the woman safely back in the care of her family.

Comer said it appeared the woman had been outside for a prolonged amount of time, as she was drenched in sweat.

Had it not been for the swift and decisive action of Comer and the other individuals involved, this story may not have had such a happy ending.

Great job Arnold! Aim is proud to have you on our team!
