Joe Telega Promoted to Vice President of Leasing Sales

Aim Transportation Solutions, a family-owned and -operated provider of commercial transportation solutions, is proud to usher in a new era of the company’s more than 40-year history by announcing the promotion of Joe Telega to the esteemed position of Vice President of Leasing Sales. This promotion reflects Joe’s pivotal role in driving Aim’s leasing sales growth and success for more than a decade as well as Aim’s commitment to recognizing and fostering the industry’s top talent within the organization.

As Vice President of Leasing Sales, Joe will be responsible for overseeing Aim’s nationwide leasing sales team, formulating and executing innovative sales strategies and nurturing key client and vendor partner relationships. His wealth of experience, strategic vision and customer-first approach will be instrumental in aligning Aim’s leasing, rental and maintenance services with the evolving demands of the market.

Holding a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Penn State University, Joe began his career at Aim in 2010 as a lease sales representative in Pittsburgh, PA. In 2012, he transferred to Aim’s headquarters office in Youngstown, OH, to fill the open lease sales position for Northeast Ohio and part of Western Pennsylvania, where Joe calls home.

For the next six years, Joe continued to demonstrate his keen understanding of the industry and passion for exceeding customer expectations. That along with his innovative approach and commitment to fostering strong client relationships earned him a promotion to Regional Sales Manager, where he would have the chance to prove himself as a skilled and dedicated leader.

Prove it he did. Under his direction, Joe’s team continued to increase revenue year over year and expanded Aim’s client base in a highly competitive region of the country for commercial truck leasing and service.

His time as a Regional Sales Manager would be short. In 2018, just roughly a year after earning his previous promotion, Aim’s leadership promoted him again, this time to Regional Vice President. This elevated role added four salespeople to his team that now spanned Western Pennsylvania, Ohio and Michigan.

“While earning his way up, Joe has routinely demonstrated his leadership abilities along with his dedication and drive to always go above and beyond for our customers, his team and Aim as a whole,” said Matt Svancara, Chief Operating Officer of Aim Leasing Company. “We’re incredibly fortunate to have someone of Joe’s caliber to lead our amazing sales team, and I have the utmost confidence in his ability to not just uphold but bolster Aim’s commitment to industry-leading customer service.”

Joe’s leadership style mirrors what he attributes to much of his own success. It’s a combination of approachability, mentorship and a results-driven focus. Under his guidance, his team has consistently exceeded goals and demonstrated extraordinary growth and success. As Vice President of Leasing Sales, he’s poised to foster that same collaborative and empowering culture, just on a larger scale.

Further underscoring Joe’s ability, Joe is a multi-year President’s Circle recipient, a distinction given to Aim’s sale staff and management who meet or exceed their annual goals.

“Matt [Svancara] put his faith in me to continue and build upon the groundwork he laid in this position, and I’m going to work tirelessly to carry on that momentum,” Joe said. “Thankfully, we have such a strong management team and sales force in place that the transition should be seamless, and we’ll continue executing at the incredibly high level everyone has come to expect.”
