Aim Celebrates Technician Appreciation Week

Aim Transportation Solutions blocked off five days, from October 10 – 14, to celebrate the hard work and commitment of the talented individual who make up our nationwide diesel mechanic workforce during Aim’s very own National Technician Appreciation Week.

Aim technicians play one of the most demanding and vital roles in Aim’s day-to-day operations. In fact, they’re a fundamental ingredient in our motto: Service is our only product. Even though a diesel mechanic’s efforts happen behind the scenes, their contributions are critical to us, our customers and the American supply chain. They’re the backbone of our company.

“The high skill level our technicians perform at on a daily basis is evident in our customer satisfaction and the continued growth of our company,” said Chris Disantis, Aim’s Vice President of Maintenance. “The critical work our techs do and their determination to go above and beyond doesn’t go unnoticed. We see you, and we appreciate you.”

This year, every Aim diesel technician received a gift box containing a sweatshirt emblazoned with the NTAW and Aim logos as well as a thank you card signed by members Aim’s executive leadership team and regional directors.

But it didn’t end there! Each day during the five-day celebration, a lineup up of Aim hosts stepped in front of the camera to share across social media their gratitude for Aim’s diesel mechanics and raffle off 10 70” 4K televisions to the amazing individuals turning wrenches across Aim’s nationwide locations.

The Aim technicians who took home a big-screen television were:

  • Tyler Vlaiku
  • Cody Kosa
  • Edward Marek
  • John Sell
  • Tracy Kilgore
  • Danny Lazar, Sr.
  • Cody Cockerill
  • Morgan Milstead
  • Jordan Tsosie
  • Bryan Barrickman

Aim Co-President Geoff Fleming kicks off Aim's Technician Appreciation Week with a message of appreciation to Aim's technicians and pulls the first two winners of the 70" TV raffle. Watch the full playlist of appreciation videos on the Aim YouTube page.

Ahead of Aim’s NTAW, we asked our techs to submit a short video detailing their experience working for Aim. Those videos were then shared on social media throughout the celebration. Each submission came with the chance to win one of three $500 gift cards. We are pleased to announce the winners of that contest: Raymond Leck, Matt Emanuel and Matt Woods.
