Warm weather, swaying palm trees and sparkling tropical waters were all part of the setting of this year’s NationaLease Masters Club awards ceremony in Montego Bay, Jamaica. There, NationaLease—Aim’s affiliate network, with over 900 locations, where Aim receives the benefit of reciprocal service from more than 140 member companies, as well as more than 59,000 approved service vendors—awarded 2019’s best sales performers, across all companies, with top honors.
Among those winners, and no strangers to this prestigious recognition, were Aim’s Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Matt Svancara, who is also enshrined in the Masters Club hall of fame, as well as District Sales Manager, Mike Wall.
“Receiving the Masters Club award is always a great honor, especially in a business such as ours where competition is so fierce and reaching such a milestone takes a ton of dedication and hard work,” said Svancara. “I was proud to share the moment with Mr. Wall, an immensely talented salesman who is one of Aim’s top performers year after year.”
Earning this distinction isn’t easy. Earning it repeatedly is even harder, which, to no one’s surprise at Aim, these gentlemen continue to do. Based on a points system that credits a salesperson for each pieces of equipment he or she sells, the bar is set high. So high, in fact, that, this year, only 23 out of hundreds of talented individuals selling commercial trucks and trailers achieved Masters Club status.
“Each year, the Masters Club event recognizes the accomplishments of those sales professionals who achieve the highest threshold of performance,” said Joe Gallick, Senior Vice President of Sales for NationaLease. “Knowing the challenges these folks face day after day in a hypercompetitive business environment, it’s the highlight of my year to be able to present them with these prestigious awards.
