Two Aim Leasing technicians placed among the top three in the 2017 NationaLease Tech Challenge in San Diego in April. JOHN NORWOOD, maintenance technician at the Aim shop in Elmhurst, took second place in the competition. John graduated from Aim’s apprentice program in 2016 and is the second apprentice to place in a NationaLease Tech Challenge. BOB MRZYGLOD, maintenance technician at our Buffalo facility, took third place. This isn’t his first time placing. Bob won first place in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015. “This speaks highly of our apprentice program and also the effort that John and KORY STOUDT have put into the program to become such great technicians,” said CHRIS DISANTIS, corporate training director. John and Bob were among nine regional finalists tested in a series of events that measured their maintenance knowledge and skills. John, Bob and the first-place contestant, Richard Davis of Hogan Truck Leasing, will advance to represent NationaLease at the national TMC Super Tech Competition in Orlando, Fla. in September. The national competition is sponsored by the American Trucking Association. This was the seventh year for the Tech Challenge.
