Members of Aim’s United Way team Brigitte Medovich, Patty Durkin, Anna Ulmer, Mary Zigarevich, and Kim Slater participated in the United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley’s “Night of Motown”. The event took place on November 11th at the B&O. It was presented by Women United! to raise money for United Way’s Success After 6 program which is in two Youngstown elementary schools providing wrap-around services to children and their families facing extreme barriers.
Entertainment was provided by Howard and the Point Five Band with food provided by Inspired Catering by Kravitz. Some of the children from the school performed their I Promise pledge. Women United raised more than $3400 from the event with Komara Jewelers donating a beautiful necklace and earrings set. Great job United Way!
